Beauty Control Products
Because nobody is perfect, beauty control products are very important because they help us improve our appearance.
In order to look good, we need to have good-looking hair, well-trimmed eyebrows, radiance, and complexion and we all need to inside those arm’s length extensions that hang on our head, trying to look like Angelina Jolie. Oh, wait! Just kidding. But, maybe you are not Angelina Jolie and you are trying to get rid of that unsightly hair growth that you get each time you shave?
How to get rid of it
I know many people try all sorts of treatments and products to remove hair from their faces and bodies. And some of them succeed, and some of them are simply wasting their time and money. The ones who are successful are those who take a little extra time and spend some money to eliminate the problem.
You see, you cannot simply use a laser or you can toss a wet theory in your face and expect to get rid of it. Nor can you get rid of it by following someisional technique that you can try at home. You will need some serious dedication and time to eliminate the problem.
One effective solution that has been tried and tested for over fifty years is facial hair removal cream.
Ad Exclusive ingredient: Trilastin
Trilastin cream, used in some cosmetic creams, helps to stop the growth of unwanted hair by penetrating into the follicles of your skin and encouraging the destruction of old hair cells.
FDA approved: Yes
Japanese studies have shown that Trilastin does work. Through a thirty day course of treatment, it has been proven to eliminate hair in all areas of the body, except the eyelids. However, this product can only be used by women and girls over the age of twelve.
Mineral oil is a skin sensitizer meaning that it can intensify the unwanted responses (wrinkles, scarring, acne) of your skin.
Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) is a hydroxymethylglycinate acid (a form of sugar cane used for making aspirin). It is otherwise known as glycolic acid.
Glycolic acid is proven to cause skin irritation and rashes. Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) is non irritating and alkaline. It is biodegradable, so it will be washed off the skin after it has been applied to your skin.
Corn-rows (or terminal discontinuous hyperplasia) are lines that appear close to the ears, early in men and later in women. Contrary to popular belief, the amount of terminal hair that a woman has is not hereditary and it is not caused by menopause.
There are many causes of terminal hyperplasia such as heredity, medications, hormone, and cortisone. Studies show that at least 40% of terminal hairs are caused by genetic factors.
The amount of BHA used in cosmetics is generally regulated by the FDA, but the actual amount is dependent on the amount of sugar molecular in the product. More sugar generally means more BHA.
Other ingredients in cosmetics that often have a harmful effect include perfumes and a variety of colors, particularly toluene, xylene.
As a rule of thumb, if the product has more than 2% of toluene, it is questionable. xylene color adds tinting agent and may be toxic. Carcinogens are common constituent of xylene.
xylene, seams, formaldehyde, perfumes and colors are all easily avoidable. A simple rule of thumb is to buy off as much as you can without breaking the bank. Opt for ammonia free polish kits. If you must add chemicals to your pedicure, look for nail salon quality products. My favorite is fearnica polish.
xylene and formaldehyde are easy to avoid by just buying salon quality products.
The soak off method is quick and easy. Just mix one part water to five or six parts baking soda, mix thoroughly and drop in bath water. It’s a good idea to make these mixes in a rectangular container, or maybe a glass jar. You can always add more baking soda to your favorite polish mixture and create your own soak off mask. You may even find additional suggestions on Mixing Nail Polish Mixtures.
One of the most addicting nail biting culprits is acetone. You may not even realize that you are biting your nails when you are biting the brush. And then you will be motivated to stop.
Most of us have at least one bottle of nail polish that contains acetone.
